eToro games instructions
Once you have downloaded and installed eToro, log in (with your username and password) and you will be greeted into the Lobby. That's when and where you may begin to trade. At the center of the eToro lobby you will see four big icons. Each icon stands for/ visualizes a certain trading arena - Forex Marathon, Dollar Trend, Globe Trader, Forex Match. Below you will find a brief explanation about each trading arena. Understand each arena and choose which to trade on. Once you are in the lobby, simply click on the icon that represents your chosen arena, then begin to trade. You can also get a feel for each arena simply by attending it. You may visit and try out as many arenas as you like.
You can always return to the lobby even if you are in the middle of a trade. Simply click on "Lobby".
eToro Forex Marathon: Know which currency you would like to trade with. Choose which currency you want to buy: USD, EUR, JPY, etc. Buying a currency means that you think its value will increase. Then you will have to choose which currency to compete against (once again: USD, EUR, JPY, etc). You will be given a list, and you should select one currency from that list. Select the amount you wish to trade with and then place the trade. Once you have completed these steps, you will be informed as to the exchange rate and as to how many currency pair units you are buying for the amount you are trading.
eToro Dollar Trend: Decide whether you expect the US Dollar to rise or fall. Since this is the Foreign Exchange market, your decision needs to be based on other currencies; i.e. if you think the USD will rise or fall against other currencies. Select, then click, rise if you think the USD will increase in value against other currencies or select fall if you think the USD will decrease in value against other currencies. Then, select the amount of the trade, and place the trade.
eToro Globe Trader: Select a currency pair (you will find them at the bottom of the screen.) Select the amount with which you wish to trade. Once you have done this, you will be notified on the exchange rate of this trade as well as the amount of currency pairs. If the given information suits you, click on "Start Trade" to start trading.
eToro Forex Match: Select currencies and the amount you wish to trade. This arena simulates a rope pulling competition; it will be as if your currency will be competing in a rope pulling contest against another currency. Special feature of this arena: you may set the limit of the maximum amounts you are willing to gain/lose.
Important eToro Facts to Remember:
> You can always close your trade (you may do so at any time). To close a trade, all you have to do is simply click on "Close Trade". Once you had done that, a box will appear and inform you about your profits/losses.
> Open trades will remain open until you close them. However, once the market closes, your traders will be also closed automatically.
> You can open as many trades as you wish simultaneously. All you've got to do is click on "Lobby", then select your next trade.
> If you are interesting in an overview: visit eToro's "Trading Log" for the details of your trading activities. The "Active Trades" tab will inform you of active trades; "History" tab will inform you of past trades.
